200th Year Celebration of Lycée Français International de Pondichéry

Join the Lycée Français International de Pondichéry for a special evening celebrating 200 years of education, heritage and friendship between India and France.

Founded in 1826, the Lycée is one of India’s oldest schools and among the oldest international schools in Asia. Today, the Lycée has grown into a truly global community, bringing together students and families from diverse cultures and carrying forward a tradition of excellence and openness.

For this event, we are bringing together the Lycée community, friends and partners for a celebration around music, dance, food and shared memories. We are honoured to host this evening in the presence of H.E. Mr Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India; Shri N. Rangasamy, Chief Minister of Puducherry; and Mr Alexandre Morois, Director General of the AEFE.
