LGBTQIA+ Inclusion in Medical Education Conference 2024

LIMA Presents: Our first LGBTQIA+ Inclusion in Medical Education Conference in collaboration with Leeds LGBTQIA+ Medics! 

This conference aims to highlight the invaluable work being done in the field of LGBTQIA+ inclusive education and bring passionate people working in this area together!

What to expect:

An introduction to LIMA - who we are and what we do!

Speakers sharing spotlight talks, research or projects in the field of LGBTQIA+ education. Including a talk from the LGBT Foundation and more!

Networking and sharing of passions with people excited about LGBTQIA+ inclusive teaching in medical education. 

Art displays showcasing unique perspectives on LGBTQIA+ inclusive healthcare. 

General Information:

This event will run from 9:30am to 4:00pm with an hour lunch break in the day. 

Tickets will be £5 per person. Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable to other people. 

Lunch will not be provided. To keep the costs low and accessible to all, please bring your own lunch. 

Accessibility and Inclusivity:

We endeavour to make this event as accessible and inclusive as possible. 

The room and building are wheelchair accessible. 

There are prayer facilities on site. 

There is an accessible and gender neutral toilet. 

There will be quiet rooms available for use on the day. 

There is a T loop available.
