Safe Zone training lasts 3 hours, and is suitable for students, staff, and faculty at Johns Hopkins. It will help you become a better ally for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community. At the end of the training, participants are given a colorful Safe Zone logo in order to visibly demonstrate their support for the LGBTQ community. We hope you will join us!
This online session is designed to be interactive and we encourage you to be an active participant throughout our entire time together. Please note that you will need to be able to access videos, forms, slides, and webpages from your computer – accessing via phone/audio only is not recommended. You will also be asked to participate in small group breakout rooms. Further, we request that you share your video as much as possible during the session in order to help us all remain present. We look forward to having you attend!
