Golden Hour Mindfulness on Hampstead Heath
Join our phone-free mindfulness walks to experience the restorative power of nature. Unplug, slow down, and reconnect with yourself and the present moment in the wild woodland of Hampstead Heath.
This walk takes place around the magical golden hour—a perfect time to appreciate what the Japanese call komorebi (the sunlight filtering through the leaves and the interplay of light and shadow on the ground beneath the trees).
Our goal is to equip you with mindfulness skills you can carry anywhere, while tapping into the physical and mental health benefits of connecting to the natural world.
Everyone is welcome, and the walk is suitable for all experience levels.
While the walk is conducted in silence, there'll be plenty of time to chat and make friends over a cup of tea afterward.
Please arrive five to ten minutes early and dress appropriately for the weather. We walk at a slow pace with regular stops, but you’ll need to be comfortable walking over uneven ground.

Meeting point:
We meet at the entrance to the Heath at the top of Parliament Hill Road, close to the house with the George Orwell plaque (marked on Google Maps). From Hampstead Heath Overground Station, it’s about a 10-minute walk up Parliament Hill, or a 20-minute walk from Belsize Park Station on the Northern Line. Your guide will be easy to spot, with a Lifted tote bag slung over one shoulder.
