This Halloween, Smoking Gun Entertainment returns to Lightcaster for one unforgettable night of dinner, comedy, mystery and murder.

And this is not a show you simply sit and watch.

The current mayor will do anything to keep his position — but who killed the last mayor?

As the colorful characters of Pondscum gather for a town hall meeting, accusations start flying, secrets come out and everyone seems to want a piece of the dead mayor’s “pie.”

Then the ghost of the past mayor appears...

And things may get even deadlier.

Featuring SIX professional comedic actors, including performers with Second City experience, The Town Howler is a fully interactive live murder mystery filled with ridiculous characters, suspicious behavior, twists, laughs and plenty of opportunities to solve the crime.

Throughout your three-course dinner, the mystery unfolds all around you.

Pork belly burnt ends tossed in a silky white pepper BBQ sauce

Crisp flatbread topped with roasted wild mushrooms, goat cheese and caramelized onions, finished with a balsamic reduction

MAIN COURSE — THE PRIME SUSPECTS

The Howler’s Braised Short Rib
Slow-braised bone-in beef short rib served with roasted garlic mash, blistered heirloom carrots and a rich red wine demi-glace.

OR

The Wolf Pack Sausage Penne
Penne tossed with crumbled Italian sausage, charred bell peppers and a creamy tomato vodka sauce, finished with Parmesan.

DESSERT — THE DEAD MAYOR’S LAST WORD

Ghost of the Mayor Bread Pudding
Warm rustic bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
