Adoptee Alchemy: A Mindfulness Space for Adoptees

What happens when adoptees gather to meditate together?

We co-create a space where the complexities of our identities can be held with gentle awareness, where the narrative threads of our lives can be explored through both personal reflection and collective wisdom.

Join Us for a Unique Experience

WHAT: More than just meditation—this is a carefully crafted space where mindfulness practices meet adoptee experiences. We'll move through guided meditation and mindful discussion that honors where you are on your journey.

WHEN: Saturday, March 22nd, 2025

WHERE: Zoom (link provided after registration)

COST: $10 suggested donation (no one turned away for lack of funds)

Why This Space Matters

As adoptees, we navigate unique terrain—belonging, identity, and connection often take different shapes in our lives. Mindfulness offers us tools to explore these landscapes with curiosity rather than judgment, to witness our experiences without being overwhelmed by them.

Whether you're new to meditation or have an established practice, whether you're just beginning to explore your adoptee identity or have been engaging with it for years, this space welcomes you exactly as you are.

About Your Facilitator

Logan Juliano, PhD (they/them) is a queer transracial adoptee whose work explores the intersection of identity, Buddhism, and play-based learning. Their approach combines scholarly depth with personal vulnerability, creating spaces where both intellectual exploration and emotional authenticity can thrive.

"What I've found most powerful is how mindfulness practices can help us hold the both/and of adoption—the complexity, the grief, the joy, the connection, the loss—without requiring us to resolve these tensions or arrive at neat conclusions." — Logan
