Did you know that Jesus celebrated Hanukkah?

In John 10:22–23, we read that Jesus was in Jerusalem during the Feast of Dedication, known today as Hanukkah! This beautiful Jewish festival has been celebrated for more than 2,000 years and reminds us of God's faithfulness to His people, even in the darkest of times.

But what does Hanukkah have to do with Jesus? And how does this ancient celebration point us toward the Light of the World?

Join the Jewish Ministry Team and Light of Messiah Ministries at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church for a special evening as we discover the rich history and biblical significance of Hanukkah and its connection to Jesus, our Messiah!

Together, we'll explore the story behind the Hanukkah, celebrate the sovereignty of our promise-keeping God, and discover how the themes of dedication, faithfulness, and light connect to the coming of our Savior.

Whether you've celebrated Hanukkah before or are learning about it for the first time, this will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, deepen your understanding of the Jewish foundations of our faith, and rejoice in God's faithfulness!

Come celebrate with us as we discover Jesus in Hanukkah!
