Kick off spooky season getting groovy with us! The Boo Session is our Halloween edition of Lil Groove Thing, a family-friendly daytime dance gathering for parents who still love the dance floor and the little ones who now dance beside them.

Join us for an afternoon of house music, movement, and connection where generations groove together in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Expect a club-inspired atmosphere with room for tiny feet, curious hearts, and adults who still love a proper DJ set. This is not a children’s party. It’s a shared experience designed to feel fun, inclusive, and joy-filled for the whole family.

Music will be provided by DJ LordJAZZ and Darren Simonson, bringing the house music and feel-good energy across two spaces throughout the afternoon.

And because it’s The Boo Session, costumes are highly encouraged! Come dressed up with the whole crew and enter our Family Costume Contest for a chance to take home a prize!🏆🎃

In addition to dancing, there will be dedicated areas for activities and moments of play throughout the event, giving families space for creativity, movement, and a little break from the dance floor when needed.

All ages are welcome. This event is best suited for families with young children, but older siblings and caregivers are encouraged to join.

EARLY BIRD TICKETS (Limited quantities until September 19th ): Adult $20 (13 and up), Child $5 (1-12 years old), Babies under 1 Free. Family Bundle $45 (2 Adults + 2 Kids)

GENERAL ADMISSION (On sale September 20th until October 10th ): Adult $25 (13 and up), Child $5 (1-12 years old), Babies under 1 Free. Family Bundle $55 (2 Adults + 2 Kids) 

AT-THE-DOOR, DAY OF ADMISSION: Adult $30 (13 and up), Child $10 (1-12 years old), Babies under 1 Free. Family Bundle $65 (2 Adults +2 Kids)

Event Guidelines and Terms

• Parents and guardians remain responsible for their children at all times.

• This event is intended for families. Adult only groups will not be admitted.

• Each attendee must have a ticket. Pre walking infants may attend free with a ticketed adult. 

• A maximum of three children per adult is permitted.

• Tickets are non refundable but may be transferred or resold.

• The event will be lively and energetic. While quieter than a typical adult club event, sound levels may still feel club like. Child and baby ear protection is strongly recommended and always welcome.

• The dance floor is a shared space for adults and children to move together. To preserve the flow of the experience, there will be no DJ requests or shout outs.

• Seating will be limited. Guests should expect a standing and dancing environment.

• No Strollers Allowed. Due to limited space, only backpacks and diaper bags are permitted. 

• A licensed bar will be open during the event. No glass containers are allowed in the event space.

• For safety and planning purposes, the event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance.

• We may photograph or film portions of the event. By attending, you grant permission for this content to be used for Lil Groove Thing promotional purposes.

• DJ lineup and activities are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
