Trauma Informed Practice: Knowing, Doing & Being (North/West Lindsey)

This workshop looks at the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) on our children leading to development and relational trauma. We will consider and explore the ways we can better understand and meet the needs of children who have experienced ACEs, neglect, abuse and trauma and offer appropriate support and care. We also explore how we can put theory into practice on an interaction by interaction basis to support effective learning. This course is aimed at all education professionals (academic & pastoral), Children's Services professionals, and Foster Carers.
