This session, presented by Chris Mattley from the William Farr School in Welton, will focus on the challenge faced by young people as they come out and decide to bring their authentic selves to the most important people in their lives.
Drawing on the lived experience of students, the session will look at the challenges, barriers, and obstacles that young people feel when coming out.
This thought provoking session will encourage people to reflect on identity, authenticity, and the courage to be open. The session will also explore themes of stigma, self expression, and resilience.
