Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Week: Trauma Informed Practice

This session, presented by Debbie Norton and Sara Adams from the Lincolnshire Secure Unit, will explore how a secure children’s home uses the Trauma Recovery Model (TRM) as its model of care, and how this informs day‑to‑day practice and service delivery.

It will bring the TRM to life through the retrospective lived experience of an ex-resident (the young person will not be present).
