Season's Greetings
'Season's Greetings' is set at Christmas, but the play is not at all Christmassy: it features the Bunker family and their close friends, nine in all, who regularly get together at this time, 24th to 27th December. To describe them as dysfunctional would be an understatement, as each person has his or her own problems and personal agenda, with hilarious results. Alan Ayckbourn wrote this play to be performed 'in the round,' so that is how Lindfield will do it - on the floor of the hall, and not on the stage. The play is very popular. It had an excellent run in the West End, and was later produced at the National Theatre, but until now never in Lindfield - so don't miss this great opportunity. There will be four performances at the King Edward Hall, from 29th to 31st October all at 7.30 pm, plus a matinee at 2.30 pm on the Saturday. Season's Greetings is one of Ayckbourn's most popular plays, so book early. Ticket price £15 plus a booking fee of £1.
