The Lions Are Going On A European Tour!!!

The 8th annual Lions conference will take The Lions and Lionesses on stage in Amsterdam, The Netherlands! 

If you have been to a Lions before you will know we always create an event that delivers the most value for your whole team by combining inspirational speakers with live, hands-on workshops. This will inspire change for the individual and the team so that practice will never be the same again. Hosting it in one of Europe's most fun and dynamic cities means you can have a team bonding adventure along with the learning. 

This years event format is a little different too offering a much more interactive event to get the most out of the chiropractic experts we have brought to the stage. We aim to give you the tools to grow on a personal and professional level. We call it The Chiropractic 360!

Venue & Information

The Wicked Grounds is a custom built events space set in the beautiful South Amsterdam. It is a 10-minute drive from Schiphol airport and there is parking in the local area. By train from Schiphol airport it is about 30-minutes, there are several routes most likely via Amsterdam Zuid or Lelylaan. It offers a versatile space that can accommodate the range of learning activities planned over the weekend.

Please bring some notepaper and pens. There will be coffee, water, tea and snacks provided in the breaks. Lunch will be served on both Saturday and Sunday.

Timings

On Saturday the registration will open at 8:30am and the event will start at 9am. It will finish at 5.30pm. On Sunday doors will open at 9.15am for a 9.30am start, and it will finish at 3.30pm. There will be drinks and snacks provided in the breaks, and lunch on both days is provided as well.

Accommodation

For accommodation there are some good options available nearby; Dutch Design hotel Artemis, The Ramada hotel, Best Western hotel, Aadam Wilhelmina hotel. If you are looking closer into the city centre the Museumplein and Leidseplein areas have good hotel options (and hostels if you are a student) which is a short drive or an easy commute via public transport to the venue. Please note that the Amsterdam fringe festival will be in its final weekend. This will potentially offer a fun night out in Amsterdam on the Saturday night, BUT does mean the hotels are in demand in the city. We have chosen a venue in the South of the city to increase the hotels with availability, but we recommend you book early. 
The Lions team will be staying at Hotel Leonardo Amsterdam City beside Vondelpark.

Social

We will be having some social drinks on the Friday for anyone who would like to join. It will most likely be in the Leidsplein/Museumplein area.          On Saturday we invite everyone to join us for drinks after the day of learning, a great chance to have some fun with your fellow attendees and speakers!
