Monday 4th May. 2-5pm, Two Bridges
Dartmoor storytellers Lisa Schneidau and Sara Hurley will take you to the heart of Dartmoor on this fascinating story walk led by moorland guide Gillian Healey. Through varied landscape and natural environments, this walk takes in some of Dartmoor’s most iconic landmarks and folk tales. Wistman’s Wood, Crockern Tor and the surrounding area are particularly story-rich. Immerse yourself in Dartmoor folk tales of ghoulish hounds, foolish visitors and turnips whilst having a good stomp at the same time!

It explores and celebrates the culture of Dartmoor and our emotional connection with wild, ancient places. We aim to present diverse cultural, social and political responses to the natural world – all through the lens of Dartmoor as a place, with talks, conversations, walks, workshops and performances. https://dartmoortorsfestival.co.uk
