British Sign Language (BSL) for Beginners

Join us on Monday, 27th April, from 7:00pm-9:30pm for an engaging and practical session on British Sign Language (BSL) for Beginners.

Led by BSL instructor Paula Clarke, alongside an interpreter, this event will introduce attendees to an introduction to BSL with a focus on how it applies in a business setting. You’ll learn useful signs and gain a better understanding of how to communicate more confidently and inclusively with customers and visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing.

This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to strengthen their customer service, improve accessibility and create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone who walks through their doors.

Whether you work on the front line, in hospitality, retail or any customer-facing role, this session will provide valuable skills and insights that can make a real difference.

Date: Monday, 27th April
Time: 7:00pm - 9:30pm
Venue: Action Mental Health in Lisburn - 21 Railway St, Lisburn BT28 1XG

Let’s learn together how small changes in communication can have a big impact on inclusivity.
