Welcome to Rosemaled Painted Glass ornaments!!
This is a fun class that takes rosemaling and applies it to a different background then what it typically used, glass as opposed to wood. In this class, Lise will still review the basics of rosemaling in how the combination of C and S strokes create a design and how detailing pulls them all together.
The design painted upon class ornaments will be done freehand, but Lise will provide a basic pattern packet to use if you wish and will lead all the students through practice designs before the brush gets applied to the ornament
This is a class that is great for beginners and for all levels of rosemalers/painters who wish to continue to develop a strong technical foundation and brush control for their artwork.
Lise will demonstrate the brushstrokes up close, focusing in on how to hold your brush, how to hold the ornament, direction of your bristles for proper flow of the stroke, mediums, brushes, etc. Lise will be provided the pattern packet via pdf file after you have signed up for the class.
This class will be taught in acrylics.
You do not need to attend this class live, it will be recorded and shared with all who have registered for the class.
