First Story Young Writers’ Showcase

First Story invites schools across Leicester to take part in an intensive one-day creative writing course with leading local performance poets Andy Craven-Griffiths and John Berkavitch at The University of Leicester.

Now we're inviting you to join us for a showcase of these young writers performing their work. Expect silly sonnets, angsty acrostics, romantic rapping and everything in between.

First Story writers work with schools in low-income areas across the UK to give the pleasure and benefits of Creative Writing.
