Kara Grainger Concert

 Australian-born and Nashville-based Kara Grainger is making her second appearance at the Lithuanian Music Hall and fourth overall for the concert series founded by Dan Staniskis, originally in New Jersey, over 20 years ago. Kara is a masterful guitarist, specializing in slide guitar - which invites comparisons to Bonnie Raitt, another soulful woman with serious guitar chops - but Kara has her own sound and style, and performs dynamically with her band. Last year she released her fifth solo album, and you can check out her many live shows posted on You Tube. Opening the evening's entertainment there will be a set by The Midnight Ramblers, with Dan Staniskis, playing in the electric slide guitar mode of Elmore James and others.

The night will rock! First set at 7:00 pm, Kara plays at 8:15.    Online pricing:    $28.   (Price includes welcome bag of chips plus ice tea, water, lemonade or soda).   Tickets at door, if available, at $35.
