Eat. Play. Write : Traditional Chinese Writing Workshop
A special afternoon with books, workshops and Taiwan/ Hong Kong street food

Come with your little one, learn the basic principles of Chinese writing and compose his/ her first Chinese characters! The FREE workshop will be conducted in Chinese and Cantonese.  Join us in the free session, learning Chinese is never so fun!

Books and writing sets from the “Dot Line Curve” collection will be used in the workshop 


■ Date:10 Sep (Sun)

■ Location:Veggie Garden Supermarket (Goudsesingel 75, 3031 EE Rotterdam)

■ Time:14:30 - 15:00 workshop in Cantonese
                 15:30 - 16:00 workshop in Chinese
                 * free event, reservation required
                 * each session with max. 8 participant

■ Content:
Learn the basic principles of Chinese writing, free practice and complete the first Chinese characters

Extra fun  :
Draw, write, or doodle…co-create and complete a "Chinese writing colouring sheet" together!
Extra tasty:
  Authentic Taiwan/ Hong Kong street food can be ordered on the spot.

■ Age Suggestion:Children from 3 - 8 years old. If your kid is younger than the suggested age, parents are encouraged to join along.

* Do you speak English/ Dutch and want to learn the language too? No worries, just drop by and we can show you the practice materials after the workshop.

Agnes Wong/ facilitator for Cantonese session: : A Hong Kong native living in Switzerland. Agnes is the creator of Dot Line Curve, simple and thoughtful educational materials that encourage a visual and hands-on approach to Chinese learning. Agnes works as a designer during the day, and creates Dot Line Curve as her passion project — with the wish to bring a bit joy and delight to Chinese learning, for little and big learners alike.
