You're invited to our second annual farm-to-table dinner event: Gather. Join us on Thursday, August 13 for a three-course meal using fresh produce from Little Portion Farm and sustainably-raised chicken from Mary's Land Farm. The meal will be hand crafted by Chef Derrick Purcell, Culinary Director at the Franciscan Center of Baltimore, and a team from Dignity Plates.
The evening will begin with cocktail hour (5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.) featuring cocktails (and mocktails) created and served by the Baltimore Spirits Company, with whom we are thrilled to partner for this event again. Signature drinks will include fresh ingredients from Little Portion Farm. Each attendee will receive a drink ticket for one of the featured cocktails. Cocktail hour will be on the lawn of Carrollton Hall, which overlooks the farm and acres of beautiful pasture land. (Cocktail hour will take place inside in the case of inclement weather.)
Dinner will be served by Dignity Plates in Carrollton Hall. Chef Derrick Purcell, Culinary Director at the Franciscan Center, will be our culinary guide for the evening. All courses will feature fresh produce from Little Portion Farm. We are also proud to partner with Mary's Land Farm who will provide sustainably-raised chicken for dinner. The main course will also include a wine from Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard who have also partnered with us for this event.
Live music for the evening will be provided by Nelly's Echo.
Tickets are $125 per person. Tickets can also be purchased by the table, which seat eight guests. Quantities for this event are limited.
All proceeds from this event go to Little Portion Farm, to support our work caring for the earth and growing food for people living with food insecurity. Since 2019, we have harvested and donated more than 130,000 pounds of fresh produce to our partners serving those in need, including the Franciscan Center of Baltimore, Bon Secours Community Works, and Columbia Community Cares.
