The original "Annie" ends with the world's most beloved orphan finally getting adopted by the wealthy Oliver Warbucks, a man who thought money meant everything until he met this special child. Annie taught everyone that tomorrow can come true.

But what happens after tomorrow?

Just when you thought Annie's story was over, her happy ending is still out of reach. Picking up right where Annie ends on Christmas morning, 1933, Warbucks’ adoption of Annie seems complete, and a holiday celebration is under way. But the festivities are interrupted by New York City child welfare commissioner. She directs Warbucks to find a wife within 60 days or it’s back to the orphanage for Annie. The adventures of finding Annie a mother include beloved cast members from the original musical as well as many newcomers, plus a whole new batch of songs by the same songwriting team that brought you the original Annie. This is not just a sequel, but a continuation of the story.

Directed by Erin Foreman, Central Virginia's original Annie Warbucks from the 1995 Lynchburg Fine Arts Center production, the only other time this show has been produced by a local community theater.
