Who is it for?
All staff new to Little Wandle or new to teaching Reception. Please be sure to watch the initial training videos first.
What will we get out of it?
This session follows on from the Little Wandle core programme initial training and is an excellent opportunity to plan how to get started with your Reception teaching.
We will focus on:
- how to teach a daily phonics lesson
- how to organise and teach reading practice lessons
- how to use assessment effectively.
