Who is it for?
All Year 2 staff who are new to Little Wandle or new to teaching Year 2.
What will we get out of it?
This session follows on from the Little Wandle core programme initial training and is an excellent opportunity to plan how to get started with your Year 2 teaching.
We will focus on:
- understanding the importance of completing the core programme before moving on
- exploring how the Little Wandle resources can be used to support learners with different needs and at different stages across different Year 2 pathways
- learning how the core phonics programme transitions into Little Wandle Spelling
- learning how reading practice sessions evolve into Little Wandle Fluency.
