Getting started: Teaching assistants

Who is it for?
All teaching assistants new to Little Wandle or working in a new Little Wandle programme area.

What will we get out of it?
This session follows on from Little Wandle core programme initial training and is an excellent opportunity to plan how to develop your teaching and support across Little Wandle programmes. 

We will focus on:

• supporting children with larger gaps in lessons and small groups
• exploring adaptive teaching techniques
• planning, resourcing and teaching reading practice sessions.
