Tool Intro: Circular Saw

Join us at the Tool Library for an introduction to the circular saw

In this workshop we’ll talk you through the anatomy of most circular saws, how to adjust the angle of the blade to make straight and angled cuts, how to adjust the depth gauge and why. We will go through how to set up your workpiece and guides to ensure you get a precise cut. You'll get the chance to get hand-on and practise making different cuts safely.

No experience is neccesary, this workshop is a great opportunity to get comfortable using this super useful tool

We have a ramp to get into the Tool Library workshop, and the door is 88cm wide so only accessible for certain wheelchairs. Please note that the toilets in Aspen Yard are not wheelchair accessible.

There are a couple of parking spaces within Aspen Yard, or there is free on-street parking available just outside on Aspen Grove.
