A Community Screening of the "People’s Emergency Briefing": What's Happening to Nature and What Does It Mean for Us?

Join us for a screening of the "People’s Emergency Briefing" - an eye-opening 50-minute film, which brings together nine leading UK scientists and experts to outline the latest evidence on climate change and why it impacts us in the UK, creating issues such as:

🌧️ Extreme weather

🍞 Food insecurity

🏥 Health issues

💷 Increased cost of living

This film is based on the National Emergency Briefing to MPs in November 2025, when leading experts explained the risks we face in the UK and the solutions available. There are also appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, and a range of voices from across the UK.

Cllr Ann-Marie Barker, leader of Woking Borough Council and the environment lead for the new West Surrey Council, will be joining us.

After the film there will be an open discussion about what it means for our community and what we can do locally.
