Hille Perl is considered one of the world's foremost viola da gamba players. Specialising in solo and ensemble music from the 17th and 18th centuries, she also became known through her participation as a gambist in the 2017 film "Happy End". The Sun King Ludwig XIV loved to have access to music around the clock, which meant that the court's musicians must be available from morning to night.
