Viewfinders: A Kids Summer Photography Camp (Week 1)

We’re so excited your child will be joining us for a week of creativity, hands-on learning, and photo-filled fun!

Please complete the form below to reserve your camper’s spot. This weeklong camp is designed for kids ages 10–14 who want to explore photography through games, themed photo challenges, crafts, and guided instruction in a supportive, creative environment. If you are in the Raleigh area, this is one you'll want to check out! 

📅 Camp Dates: June 23rd to June 27th
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM daily
📍 Location: Live View Studios 411 Broad Street Suite D, Fuquay Varina NC 27526
📸 Ages: 10–14 (if you are just outside these ages please contact us for special consideration or text 919-285-1557)
🎒 Campers should bring a snack, lunch, and water bottle each day
📷 Optional: Add a beginner digital camera to your registration for $60 which your child gets to keep afterward! 

The camp is led by Brent Deitrich (professional photographer and dad of three) along with a female assistant, creating a balanced and welcoming atmosphere for all campers.

📸 What Your Kids Will Learn

• How to use a digital camera (or phone camera) with confidence

• Basic photography skills: lighting, composition, and focus

• How to tell a story through photos

• Creative thinking through themed challenges and scavenger hunts

• Intro to simple photo editing and presenting their work

• Hands-on crafting and games that reinforce camera skills

• Teamwork, visual expression, and creative independence

Spots are limited to ensure a quality experience — once your registration is submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email with additional details and a camp welcome packet.

✅ Contingency Clause for Low Enrollment

We require a minimum number of campers to run each weekly session of Viewfinders: A Kids Summer Photography Camp. If a particular week does not meet minimum enrollment, we reserve the right to reschedule or consolidate sessions.

In the event this happens, we will contact you in advance and offer the option to:

• Transfer your camper to a different week (based on availability), or

• Receive a full refund if the alternative dates do not work for your family.

We currently offer three sessions:

• June 23–27

• July 7–11

• July 21–25
