Come and join us for "Standing in the Line of Women"

Many women have  complicated relationships with  their mothers or grandmothers — love, loyalty, frustration, distance,  disappointments, or grief — that is hard to resolve.

Our female ancestors', life choices were profoundly limited by social, economic and legal realities: little access to birth control, economic dependence, sexual double standards, and very limited power over their own bodies, safety or futures.

As we look further back in the maternal line, we  understand why the women before us were not always able to protect themselves,, or their children in the ways we may now long for.

This shift softens the  judgements we make  and enables more compassion and understanding of decisions, actions and inactions made by our ancestors and how they have been carried down the family line.

“Standing in the Line of Women” is a one-day constellation workshop where we explore these inherited patterns experientially.

Through guided systemic work, participants are supported to look at what they may be carrying from their maternal line — including hidden loyalties, emotional burdens, and interrupted movements of love or protection.

What often emerges is a clearer sense of where certain emotional patterns began, and what becomes possible when they are seen.

  • an issue holder, exploring your own maternal lineage
  • or a representative supporting & witnessing the wider group process

No prior experience is needed.
