Edinburgh Fringe PR Workshop (April 9th)
Are you taking a show to the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe? Would you love to learn how best to get the word out?
With more than 3,000 shows descending on the festival this year, it’s a challenge to get noticed. But there are some clever things you can do (and not do) to give your show the best chance at cutting through the noise.
Zoë Paskett, a comedy journalist and creator of LMAOnaise comedy newsletter who has received every kind of approach, and Lily Marriott, a publicist with over 10 years of experience and the founder of Lily Marriott PR, have teamed up to offer an online workshop (including a Q & A session) on how to best sell your show to the press.
When? 7pm to 8.30pm on Weds 9th April
How much? £14 for early birds and then £18 *
Come along to learn some top tips and pose your questions to an arts journalist and a publicist with lots of advice to give.
*We have set this price to fairly pay for the work and time taken to plan and deliver these workshops. However, we don't wish money to be a barrier to entry for anyone, so if you’re unable to pay to attend the session, please contact me for the Zoom link at lmaonaiseletter@gmail (no questions asked, no need to give reasons!). We have a ‘Pay It Forward’ option to cover these free tickets, so please consider contributing to this if you’re able!
If you can't make this one, there is another workshop on Mon 24th March!
