'Caravan of Hope' Global Film Premiere
Need help?
Join us for the global premiere of The Caravan of Hope film, which shares the heart-warming story of the burgeoning, grassroots, localization movement throughout Japan. The month-long journey was organised by the Sloth Club Japan to mark the celebration of World Localization Day in June 2024. Tickets are free.
Anja, Pacha and Yani Light were joined by best-selling author, Keibo Oiwa, on a grassroots road tripping adventure connecting networks from a wide array of movements; from local farms to home birth centres, eco-communities to zero-waste recycling hubs. The short film follows their journey, including 25 events over 6 weeks from Kyushu to Hokkaido, showcasing a joyful celebration of all things local; food, farming, community, seed sharing, activism, music, dance and slow, simple life.
Keibo Oiwa will be joining Anja, Pacha and Yani for a Q&A session after the online screening.
