Planet Local Sharing Circle – Session 2
Communicating localization in a way that truly reaches people

Dear friends,

Thank you to everyone who joined our first Planet Local Sharing Circle — it was a rich and inspiring beginning. We’re happy to invite you to our second gathering, and warmly welcome both returning participants and new voices.

In this session, we will explore a question many of us face:
How do we talk about localisation in ways that resonate beyond our immediate circles?

Together, we’ll reflect on experiences of sharing these ideas with others — what opens people up, what creates resistance, and how can we communicate more effectively in different contexts.

What to expect
A 90-minute participatory session including:

  • Introduction and framing from Julio Greenway, who is currently doing localization outreach in his home region in Germany.

  • Small-group “deep sharing” conversations

  • Collective harvesting of insights and ideas

Second session: Tuesday, May 5, 2026
Time: 2:30 PM UTC
Duration: 90 minutes

Local times:
San Francisco 7:30 AM | Mexico City 8:30 AM | Brasília 11:30 AM | London 3:30 PM | Berlin 4:30 PM | Nairobi 5:30 PM | New Delhi 8:00 PM | Kathmandu 8:15 PM | Hanoi 9:30 PM | Tokyo 11:30 PM

Who is it for
Anyone interested in localization and the global-to-local shift — whether you joined the first circle or are new to this space.
These circles are an experiment in building connection, clarity, and mutual support in challenging times. We hope you’ll join us.

Warmly,
Anja, Julio & the Local Futures team
