Lochhill BioBlitz!

Join us at Lochhill for our big annual BioBlitz! Come and have fun on the farm exploring nature and recording biodiversity. 

Our first BioBlitz was in 2024, and it's now become a feature of our annual farm calendar. We invite you, your family and friends to join us for a day of running around the farm spotting plants, insects, birds and other species - and helping us add them to our biodiversity data. Lochhill is lucky to have a wide mix of habitats - old and new woodland, wetlands, ponds, meadows and pasture. 

This year the BioBlitz will be in collaboration with the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere. Groups led by our experienced team will bring back samples to the ID station.

All ages welcome, under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Outdoor clothes essential. Light refreshments provided.
