The SONIC SOCIAL is more than just a music event. It’s a multi-generational celebration of sound, creativity, and community. ​Our mission is to provide a safe, world-class production environment where nostalgia meets the next generation. Whether you're a parent wanting to dance with your kids, share your love for a tune, or a teen looking for a professional creative outlet, we offer the magic of a festival style atmosphere without the risks of unregulated nightlife. 

In partnership with Kane FM, we provide a full day of the best music, production, kids activities and workshops at a price you can afford.

THE LINEUP (Something for EVERY generation!)

1PM - 3PM // KIDS OF KANE DISCO Bring the little ones down for a high-energy, safe-space dance party! We've got a Bouncy Castle, Parachute Play, Arts & Crafts, Face Painting, plus a brand new beautiful RHS landscaped garden to explore.

3PM - 7:30PM // THE LAB Want to learn to mix? Get hands-on experience in our interactive DJ workshops! If the decks aren't your thing, go head-to-head with the kids in our Computer Games Room. Plus Vibroacoustic Healing with JUSTb to remove stress and heal via music and vibrations. Keep an eye out for more workshop activities to be added.

7:30PM - MIDNIGHT // SONIC SOCIAL Time for the adults to reconnect over pure, unadulterated quality music. We are talking high-fidelity sound powered by the legendary Pineapple Tribe Sound System and mind-bending immersive visuals by Jellytree Productions.

​Food: From sizzling meats to fresh, vegetarian options, we are working with our food partners to serve up high-quality fuel for all ages.
​The Lock Inn - Social Bar: Enjoy a chilled beer, a crisp glass of wine - expertly crafted drinks that prove you don't need the "nightlife" buzz to enjoy a premium sip.
​Sweet Treats & Caffeine: Keep the energy high with coffee and a selection of treats for the little ones (and the big ones!).

​We believe that world-class music shouldn't come with a world-class price tag. We’ve kept our entry fee exceptionally low to ensure that an entire day of high-end production, professional workshops, and top-tier DJ sets is accessible to every family in our community. Best of all? All proceeds go directly toward supporting the Lockwood Centre and its partners, ensuring our community remains a hub for creativity for years to come.

📋 Lock Inn: Terms & Conditions

1. Ticketing & Entry

• Age Restriction: This is a family event with no age restrictions. Valid photo ID (Passport or Driving Licence) may be required for bar access. Please be respectful.
• Ticket Validity: Tickets are valid only for the specific match date stated. Please ensure you have your digital or printed ticket ready on entry.
• No Re-entry: For security purposes, a "no re-entry" policy may be in effect once the evening event has kicked off.

2. Venue & Safety

• Event Windows: Please note the "Event Window" times. Early arrival is encouraged; late arrival may result in delayed entry during busy periods.
• Search Policy: The venue reserves the right to conduct bag searches. Prohibited items include outside alcohol, or any items deemed dangerous by security.
• Conduct: Aggressive behavior, foul language, or any form of discrimination will result in immediate ejection without a refund.

3. Alcohol & Refreshments

• Licensing: Lockwood Studios operates a Full Licensed Bar. We operate a "Challenge 25" policy.
• Outside Food/Drink: No outside food or beverages are permitted inside the venue. Street food and drinks will be available for purchase on-site.
• Responsible Drinking: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated.

4. Refunds & Support

• Refund Policy: Tickets are generally non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organisers. Refunds will be issued minus the booking fee or by issuing a voucher for a future events at the venues discretion.
• Proceeds: All ticket proceeds directly support Lockwood Studios. By purchasing a ticket, you are contributing to our local creative community.
• Media: By attending, you consent to being filmed or photographed for promotional purposes related to Lockwood Studios.

KIDS OF KANE: TERM AND CONDITIONS

- Everyone attending the event is required to have a ticket this includes both adults and children (under 2s tickets are free but must be selected at time of purchasing regular tickets).
- Throughout the event we may take pictures to use on our social media channels. Please speak to a member of staff if you would like us not to use an image of you or your child.
- No unaccompanied adults without children. 
- Children under 16 must be superved by a responsible adult at all times.
- Buggies and prams must be parked away from the main activity areas, please bring a carrier or sling for non walking babies.
- There may be food or objects on site that contain allergens such as latex balloons or sweets and nuts.
- Music is kept to a safe level for little ears but please feel free to use ear protection if you feel more comfortable. 
- Flashing lights are used throughout the event.
- Illegal substances are not permitted, anyone suspected to be under the influence will be asked to leave.
