Is this workshop right for me?

This workshop is for anyone who is interested in honesty and personal growth.

If you have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder (or similar) or suffer from severe PTSD, please contact mak.honesti@gmail.com to see if this workshop is right for you. It is possible that you may benefit from 1-on-1 work before participating in a workshop.

In this workshop, we will learn and put into practice the foundational Radical Honesty Distinctions, including Noticing vs Imagining, the Awareness Continuum, and expressing Resentments & Appreciations. We work with whatever arises in the moment, whatever you bring to the group.

If you’re struggling in a relationship, trapped in your mind, needing encouragement or support, wanting real-world practice with real-world examples, or seeking to build community with other honest folks like yourself, this is workshop is for you!

This workshop is for newbies and experienced Radical Honesty practitioners alike. We will cover the foundational Radical Honesty distinctions and get some experiential practice in applying those distinctions in our lives from moment to moment.

Even if you've already participated in multiple Radical Honesty events, our workshops are designed to be experiential, placing the bulk of the focus on deepening your practice more than learning new ideas.

WHAT IS A RADICAL HONESTY WORKSHOP?

A Radical Honesty Weekend Workshop is a playground for us to experiment with telling the truth out loud. This means building greater awareness of and speaking with more clarity about whatever arises for us in the moment in a simple, direct, and congruent way.

Through direct sharing, we can see how we have held ourselves back from creating the relationships we want, having the intimacy we crave, and living the lives of our dreams.

Radical Honesty principles and skills are taught in a planned, experiential sequence to support us in telling the truth and sticking with whatever comes up. We want you to leave the weekend with a new set of communication skills and freedom from obsessive thinking.

Michael Alan Kolb (aka Mak) has a B.A. in Psychology, is a certified Radical Honesty Trainer, and is a Senior Trainer and co-founder of the Radical Honesty Institute.

Mak is committed to helping people develop the skills needed to live life out loud, to mend and build (and sometimes end) meaningful relationships and to ground themselves in experiential reality. He is particularly interested in the problems of existentialism, couples work and open relationships, confronting the “self” and dealing creatively with anger and conflict. After a career in music in Los Angeles, Mak moved to Costa Rica and founded Cascada Elysiana Eco-Lodge & Retreat Center.

“It is difficult to transition into adulthood in a world full of adolescents. This practice of Radical Honesty has been the most important work I've done in my personal journey of growing up, and I'm hungry to surround myself with others who want to embark on this journey with me. There's a whole lot of road left for us to travel.” -Mak

Firdoz Gangat walks the line as a Radical Honesty Trainer Candidate. He discovered Radical Honesty in 2016. Before that, mainly living in his mind, he was a people pleaser and excellent at conflict avoidance! However, since practising Radical Honesty, Firdoz's life changed extraordinarily as he learned to feel his bodily sensations and share emotional experiences, allowing the creation of deep connections with others.

Firdoz is trained in Bodywork and Tantric Healing Therapy and is interested in conscious sexuality, consent, breath-work and men's work and works as a Tech consultant. Since 2018, he has led the Radical Honesty London meetup group and assisted in workshops.

Passionate about honesty and healing, and with great thanks to Radical Honesty, his friendships, intimate relationships and lifestyle have improved as he embodies this work. Firdoz leads the Radical Honesty Anti-racism Group.

In 2020 he founded London Alchemy, a Human Healing and Honesty Movement.  Join the tribe https://linktr.ee/LondonAlchemy | London Alchemy Group

We need each other. What would happen if we all, as the human race, decided to be radically honest with each other!  What could we imagine together?
