LEYF Interview Training
Our teams work tirelessly Partnering with over 10 colleges and direct-sourcing across job boards to ensure a steady flow of talent. Our progress is clear:
- Applications have surged from 2,000 to over 11,000 per year.
- We manage roughly 100 live vacancies at any given time.
- We work with you to successfully offer roles to around 500 people annually.
In a sector with limited qualified teachers, our goal is simple: Get enough high quality people for LEYF. To do this, we must balance pace with a brilliant candidate experience to remain an employer of choice. And who we choose to offer our roles to matters.
Following extensive research and focus groups with 60 of our colleagues, we have developed a LEYF Selection Framework. This is tailored specifically by nursery role (with a core behaviour set for COT).
What to expect:
- New, streamlined interview forms are being rolled out now.
- Clear positive and negative indicators for every role.
- A unified approach to HOW we interview to ensure we hire the very best, every time.
Mandatory Interview Training: To DEVELOP YOUR SKILLS AND support the rollout of this framework, we are launching interactive, practical training sessions.
Attendance is mandatory for all colleagues who conduct interviews.
Who should attend: All Senior Managers, Managers, Deputies (Nurseries), and COT Managers. Note: If you have Room Managers who regularly interview, please send their names to the Recruitment Team and we will do our best to accommodate.
