Join us for Beaver watching and bat spotting  with Ealing Beavers 

Join us for a guided safari through the Beaver-transformed Paradise Fields for a chance to see the Ealing Beaver Project Beavers, and to do a spot of bat spotting! It is a unique opportunity to observe our reintroduced Beaver family and their behaviours with the unique insight from one of the project leaders.

Like most wildlife, there is never a guarantee that we will see the Beavers. Using adaptive strategies, we aim to balance the possibility of seeing beavers while minimising disturbing them. Each safari will begin with an introduction and adapt to onsite conditions and current Beaver patterns. Some off-trail walking may be involved so we recommend you wear appropriate waterproof footwear. Your clothing should be of muted colours (greens, browns, greys, blacks), with no loud patterns or designs. Also, no deodorants, perfumes or colognes as Beavers have an acute sense of smell. Please eat before you arrive, as again the smells of the food may put off the beavers! 

You will be required to stand still in silence for relatively long periods so portable camp chairs are permitted and advisable, particularly if you have physical restrictions making standing uncomfortable. Bring binoculars if you have them, though some will be provided to share.

Accessibility: The beaver spotting element of the event at 7.30pm is on an accessible path, but when we tour the site earlier in the visit we will be going off the path onto uneven ground which is not wheelchair friendly.
