Discussing Climate Resilience and Ranger Projects
Discussing Climate Resilience and Ranger Projects
Share this event
The changing climate has far reaching impact across our Ranger projects, London and beyond.
This online meeting will bring us together for an initial discussion of this issue. It will be a space for Rangers to start to:
- flag specific ways in which we can build our 2027 programme to support the Ranger community to know how to adapt their projects for the changing climate
- to discuss what kinds of public facing advocacy or resources we might want to create
- and to think about how we continue to support each other as we navigate the changing climate
If you have something specific you want to bring to this event please do reach out - Rebecca.daniels@nationalparkcity.org Subject areas we are already thinking about include - food security, shade, flooding, resilient planting, healthy homes, and economic justice (e.g. who can afford air conditioning/has access to green spaces), and we will leave plenty of space for ideas to emerge during the event.
Access: This event is free and will take place online on zoom. We will have a wider discussion and possible break out into groups if relevant. Feel free to do what you need to be comfortable during the event, e.g. eat dinner, move around etc.
