Sunday 10/10/21 - LRNSC roller skiing

The following roller ski activities will take place:

Please book your place, or confirm attendance if you've previously paid for the children's course or the race group

• 1000-1130 Children’s roller ski course - 3rd session of 7 [please confirm attendance if you've already booked the course]
• 1000-1230 Individual training & practice session1000-1230 Beginners - learn to roller ski course [session 1/5]
• 1000-1230 Beginners - learn to roller ski course [session 1/5]
• 1000-1230 Intermediates - develop your skills course - " "
• 1000-1230 Race training group - session will be in classic style focusing on acceleration and maximum speed in all techniques
• 1300 2 lap time trial - more details - arrive by 1230 at the latest to warm up/check in with organiser

Costs

LRNSC members

• Individual training/practice  w time trial: free of charge

• Race training group: 1st session free to LRNSC members, thereafter any 5 sessions for £60.00 [or £100.00 with equipment hire] includes time trial entry
• Children's roller ski course - 6 sessions £20.00 [with optional time trial entry - participants can decide on the day]
• Beginners or intermediates course of 5 sessions [with optional time trial entry]:

          Adult with equipment £100.00, tuition only £60.00  [Junior with equipment £80.00,   tuition only £40.00]

• Single session - Intermediates - Adult tuition only £15.00  [Junior tuition only £10.00]

BNDS members

• Individual training/practice + time trial: free of charge

Other Snowsport England or SSS club members

• Individual training/practice with optional time trial: £5.00
• Race training group: 1st session £5.00 , thereafter any 5 sessions for £60.00 [or £100.00 with equipment hire] includes time trial entry

Non members [unaffiliated]

• Individual training/practice with optional time trial: £10.00
• Race training group: £10.00, thereafter any 5 sessions for £60.00 [or £100.00 with equipment hire] includes time trial entry
• Beginners or intermediate course - you need to join the Club first then the cost will be as shown above for LRNSC members.

RAF Nordic members [shown as £0.00 but billed directly post event]

• Individual training/practice : £3.00
• Individual training/practice + time trial: £5.00
• Race training group: £5.00, thereafter any 5 sessions for £60.00 [or £100.00 with equipment hire] includes time trial entry
  
  

Equipment hire [same price for members & non members]
Roller skis, boots, poles, protective kit: £10.00 [classic, skate or combi]
NB Equipment hire is for those who can roller ski safely - if you don't know how to roller ski please book on to the beginners' course.

Participation rules

Although from 19th July 2021 most restrictions in England relating to COVID-19 have been lifted, please note the following based on our risk assessment.

• It is your personal responsibility not to turn up to the activity if you or your children are displaying any of the COVID-19 symptoms as outlined in the UK Government guidance, or if you have been exposed to someone with symptoms in the previous 14 days.
• You must book online in advance - this applies to everyone who wishes to participate in any activity.
•  It is also a your personal responsibility to assess personal risk at an event and be aware of the Club and Circuit rules.
  
• Please arrive promptly at 1000 and check in with the LRNSC volunteer on duty outside the clubhouse.
• The club house will be open but please keep use to a minimum, maintain social distancing and wear a mask if it is busy.
• Come ready to ski - there may not be changing rooms available.
• Please bring your own equipment if you have it. Some courses include equipment but kit can be hired if you need it - select when you book.
• Please bring and wear gloves & your own cycle helmet & protective padding if you have them.
• Parking – use the road up to the club house after the barrier or Minet Lodge car park - the entrance is past Goals, on the right at the bend.
