Launch of Earth Capital Nexus - Catalysing finance for a resilient future

We are delighted to invite you to the launch of Earth Capital Nexus, a bold new initiative led by Professor Nicola Ranger under the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment and the new Global School of Sustainability at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Earth Capital Nexus (EarthCap) aims to accelerate the integration of natural capital into decision-making—recognising its role as growth-enhancing infrastructure, and advancing this shift through world-leading analytics, research, and innovation. Natural capital includes the world’s essential natural assets—such as forests, water, soil, biodiversity, and critical minerals—that underpin our economies, health, and wellbeing.

In partnership with business, finance, and government, EarthCap works to unlock high-quality, accessible finance to build a resilient, nature-positive, and inclusive global economy—strengthening the resilience of societies and ecosystems while enhancing long-term growth and competitiveness.

Our inaugural event will bring together senior leaders from across finance, business, government, academia, and civil society for a timely discussion on aligning natural capital, growth, and finance. Together, we will explore the emerging opportunities where Earth and financial capital converge to shape a sustainable future.
