Presentation of the London Spanish Book & Zine Fair will take place on Thursday 1st October at Instituto Cervantes London at 6 pm with the London’s premiere of Vasto Mundo, an animation short film directed by Ande Films based on the comic book Vasto Mundo by Flora Márquez (Argentina). Can the Moon know our deepest fears, joys, and secrets or is it nothing more than an inert, distant, and empty satellite? A philosophical and hopeful journey of questions, but also of answers that invite the audience to participate from their own place and circumstances.
After the screening, we'll have some time to listen the directors, network with writers and publishers that are participating at this edition of the book fair and toast for another great edition with a glass of wine (or juice :) !

Synopsis
VASTO MUNDO is a middle-lenght film by Ande Films —Ana Rivadulla Crespo (Spain) and Adelaida Monguillot (Argentina)— based on the comic book Vasto Mundo and other stories by the Argentinian illustrator Flora Márquez. The interwoven tapestry of insights by the Moon (narrated by Anita Wicks and represented through animated illustrations and film narrative) brings an existential awareness of the finiteness and preciousness of life: the awareness that each one of us is one of many but, at the same time, a unique being with sense and purpose.

The London Spanish Book & Zine Fair is the first dedicated event to publications (books and fanzines) in Spanish (Bilingual / English translations) in the United Kingdom. The LSBZF is a voluntary non-for-profit organisation.
The official launch will take place on Thursday 1st October at Instituto Cervantes London while the Book & Zine Fair will take place on Saturday 3rd October at Conway Hall, London.

VASTO MUNDO es un mediometraje de Ande Films (Ana Rivadulla Crespo and Adelaida Monguillot) basado en el cómic Vasto Mundo y otras historias de la ilustradora argentina Flora Márquez. El entramado de reflexiones de la Luna (narrado por Anita Wicks y representado a través de ilustraciones animadas y narrativa cinematográfica) genera una consciencia existencial sobre la finitud y la preciosidad de la vida: la consciencia de que cada uno de nosotros es uno de muchos, pero, al mismo tiempo, un ser único con sentido y propósito.
