Experience a soldier’s life at the time of the English Civil Wars
Children’s drill. Skirmishes. Sights, sounds and smells!
Living History encampment opens at 10:30 am - Free on site parking
The Sealed Knot commemorates our history in a number of ways. We perform re-enactments in local communities based around battles, skirmishes and sieges of the English Civil Wars. The Sealed Knot brings history to life, offering a chance to experience first-hand the horrors of a nation at war with itself, as well as providing a glimpse of everyday life in those days. Take a more hands-on approach to history by seeing us in costume, being able to ask us questions and handle some of our weapons and equipment. Learn about cookery, clothes, education and seventeenth century politics alongside strategies and tactics.
A FULL DAY OF INTERACTIVE HISTORY FOR ALL THE FAMILY
