Long Story Books Presents The Librarians Documentary Screening

Long Story Books is thrilled to host a screening of The Librarians, the 2026 Emmy award-winning documentary by Kim A. Snyder following superhero librarians as they emerge as first responders in the fight for democracy and First Amendment rights.

In honor of Banned Books Week, we’re turning it into a mini pop-up too! We’ll have an assortment of our favorite banned and challenged titles for sale in the Tara lobby. We'll donate 15% of book and merch sales to PEN America and Freedom to Read Foundation. Doors will open at 6pm so you have  time to browse, grab concessions, and mingle with your fellow book lovers.

We have set aside 25 free tickets for librarians! If you are a librarian, please email us at hello@longstorybooks.com.

Doors at 6pm
Show at 7pm

Small print: purchasing a ticket automatically signs you up for our newsletter and event updates. Please email hello@longstorybooks.com if you do not want to receive our newsletter.
