This performance is a donation which will be allocated by us to Newington Big Local and Creative Newington to bring laughter and fun to low-income families who are struggling now more than ever. The actors from Looping the Loop are also donating 50% of their fee so that we can reach as many families as possible during August.
Whilst we welcome all contributions, we have suggested a donation of £15.00 as this will cover one entire performance for a household in Newington.
About the show: In a 20-minute show on your doorstep, Gladys, Mabel and Marjory (and their owners) perform all their best tricks. Ever seen a Milk Bottle Dog jump over a small boy? Play dead? Pose for photographs? No? You won't believe your eyes. You will also receive an activity kit with everything you need to make your very own Plastic nosed Bottle Dog (up to six kits per household.)
This performance is the first in a series of 'Unexpected Performance Services' by live theatre company Looping the Loop and We Are Nearly Normal. (Think Just Eat with food for the soul rather than the stomach). This is why we're calling it 'UPS' for short - see what we did there?
For privacy reasons, we cannot provide photographs from the performance. However, you will receive a personalised thank you video via email from Nearly Normal Theatre Company and their famous puppet dogs, Gladys, Mabel and Marjory.
