Fri 14 Feb 2025 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Radford House, CT11 9AT
Description
Struggling to Convince Venues, Audiences, or Even Yourself?
You’re passionate about your work, but when it’s time to pitch, everything gets muddled. You don’t know where to start, you’re trying to guess what venues or audiences actually want to hear, then your words feel salesy and inauthentic. Sound familiar?
What if you could craft a pitch that feels effortless and sounds like you—one that not only gets venues on board but also connects deeply with your audience?
Organised by Looping the Loop, Pitch Perfect is a hands-on workshop for performing artists and producers that will help you do just that.
What You’ll Gain
This isn’t a lecture—it’s a dynamic, hands-on workshop designed to spark your creativity and give you real results.
- Define Your Unique Selling Proposition (USP): We’ll explore what sets your work apart through a creative exercise, helping you answer key questions.
- Crafting the Pitch: With fun exercises, you’ll learn how to structure a pitch for any context—whether in person, on the phone, or in writing.
- Using Visuals Effectively: How to select visuals that align with your message and strengthen your pitch.
- Confidence in Pitching: Find language that works for you and gives you the tools to speak clearly and passionately about your work.
- Preparing for the Next Step: We’ll cover how to stay prepared once you’ve caught someone’s attention, from having an updated website to following up effectively. You’ll leave with a practical checklist to keep you ready for any opportunity.
Pitch authentically. Fill seats. Watch your work take center stage!

About Looping the Loop
Looping the Loop began in 2013 as part of the nationally-significant Collaborative Touring Network, led by Battersea Arts Centre. Now, over 10 years later, we are a busy, fun-loving, adventurous team determined to support artists to make new work and to support the people of Thanet to join us on our adventures in performance.
We support artists and the development of new work through our programme PACT (Performing Arts Collective Thanet) and Making More Waves, an annual festival in partnership with ARK.
