What happens after you flush?

Tour the new, state-of-the-art Water Resource Reclamation Facility in White Rock! This free event will help you better understand what is actually happening after water and wastewater flow out of your pipes and head into the municipal wastewater system. The 60-minute tour starts with a short overview of the treatment process and ends with a walk-through of the WRRF.

  • How does waste get to the plant?
  • How is water reclaimed? And what does that mean, anyway?
  • How does this facility keep our environment safe?
  • Why is this facility better than the original White Rock wastewater treatment plant?
