Hello Beautiful Women—

I just got back from a reconnaissance trip in which I scouted retreat spaces and the hikes and beaches in the surrounding areas that we can utilize for integration and relaxation. I am so glad that I checked out these places in person instead of booking based on the pictures online. I found a place!!!

This is a really beautiful and special place perched on the edge of the Pacific Ocean surrounded by 30 acres of private Redwoods. On the grounds, there are beautiful pine and deciduous trees and a trail 50 feet from the house that winds through the redwoods (some old growth) and ferns down to a year round creek. If we are ambitious, we can walk the creek down to the ocean! Also, about a five to ten minute drive from the house, there are other easy trails with redwoods that lead to the beach and paths where we can meander and sit along the bluffs overlooking the ocean. The Area

Rugged Coastline Meets Solitude

Whether looking to explore the Sonoma coast by land or sea, or simply retreating from the daily grind, the lodge is located where California’s pristine coastline meets Redwood forest. Hear crashing waves and barking seals, watch whales and dolphins from every room, and smell the pine and redwood forest air. The lodge is where life hits “pause.”

Redwood Forest + Creek

A winding private trail network winds through 25 secluded acres of old-growth and second-growth redwoods, descending into a fern-draped canyon to our year-round freshwater creek. Listen to babbling water, hunt for mushrooms, smell the rich pines and moss, and forest-bathe in complete solitude. And for the adventurous, hike along the creek for a half mile to reach the beach at Kolmer Gulch.  

Oceanview Meadow

The 1.5-acre meadow and patio overlook Highway 1 providing 180-degree views of crashing waves, stunning sunsets, and spectacular night sky views. Stay warm in the hot tub, relax by the fire pit, or grill on the propane BBQ while enjoying lawn games and watching the birds among the redwoods.

Mini-Goat Farm

Our friendly mini goats add a little farm charm to the Sonoma Coast experience. Stop by to say hello, watch their antics, and enjoy a fun, unexpected part of life at the Lodge that guests love.

The Accommodations

The Lodge

Built as a “micro hotel” each unit has a king bed, bathroom, propane wall heater, wood-burning fireplace, TV, DVD player and wet bar with refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. All rooms have ocean views, 4 rooms have a private patio and 3 rooms have a jetted jacuzzi tub and sauna. The house has a fire pit, Jacuzzi, and outdoor heated patio that overlooks the ocean.

Pricing varies depending on whether you prefer your own room or would like to share a room. 

Tentative Schedule 

Day 1: Arrive, Opening Circle, Preparation

Day 2: Movement, Forest Bathe in the Redwoods, Hike on the Bluffs, Dancing 

Day 3: Breathwork, Meditation, Chakra Clearing, Ceremony with Live Music, Japanese Acupressure

Day 4: Movement, Art Integration, Redwood Integration, Song Circle around the Campfire 

Day 5: Cacao Ceremony, Closing Circle, Communal lunch at nearby restaurant overlooking the ocean

REFUND POLICY

Due to the intimate nature of this event and the cost and logistics of planning a retreat, we are not able to offer refunds. However, if cancellation is necessary, we will try to fill your spot from the waitlist or you may possibly transfer your spot to a mutually vetted friend.
