Alan Satchwell, Trumpeter-Singer

Alan just released his CD, Jazz in the Vineyard, which defines his warm, inspired, melodic trumpet sound. After graduating UCLA for music, Alan was a studio singer and trumpeter in Hollywood and worked on Paramount’s Solid Gold TV show. He sang on the original Tron soundtrack and on Dan Fogelberg’s The Innocent Age album. He was featured on muted trumpet on the closing title for the 2008 film Phantom Punch.

Alan has recorded with Smooth Jazz artists, Ken Navarro and Dave Koz. As a singer-songwriter, Alan was signed to a development deal with Interscope Records with multi-platinum producer, Bob Ezrin. He has written, produced and performed countless music cues for television over the last 20 years.

He currently lives in Solvang, California, with his wife, Christi, where they raised their four beautiful children. Alan is the full-time Worship Director at Santa Ynez Valley Presbyterian church.
