Rocco the Rock Star! Storytime & Creative Writing for Dog Loving Children

Woof woof! A workshop perfect for your pet-loving little story-tellers!

Join authors Rachel Smith and Charlie Ford for a fun, interactive adventure inspired by Rocco the Rock Star Dog, their book based on the true story of a very special rescue dog from Romania.

During this interactive session, children will:

• Enjoy an interactive reading from one of Rocco’s adventures
• Discover how a real dog became a storybook character
• Help create a brand-new Rocco adventure
• Decide where Rocco goes, who he meets and what goes wrong!
• Get creative and discover how “What if…?” can be the beginning of a great story
• Explore themes of friendship, kindness, courage and helping others

There’ll be plenty of stories, games, creativity, humour and Rocco-inspired fun!

We’ll also have a life-size cardboard Rocco for photographs, followed by a Q&A and book signing.

Suitable for ages 5-10. Each child's ticket includes one adult. You can also add extra children on at the checkout.

Find Lost in the Reads at Unit 6, Regent Street, Kings Chase Shopping Centre, Kingswood, BS15 8LP.
