LOTI Sandbox Design Session 3: Building Prototypes
Thu 5 Dec 2024 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Crowndale Centre, NW1 1BD
Description
About the event
Following the design sprints held in November, we invite you to our third design sprint session on the 4th of December. In this session we will be moving the ideas surfaced in the previous sprints forward and building them into prototypes. This session will include fleshing out aspects of the prototypes and hands-on designing with a view to showcasing the impact of these solutions on real stories in our event in January. The ideas we are taking forward include:
- Care Buddies: A volunteer program pairing individuals needing care with friends or family, equipped with tailored support packs to navigate the system and provide help.
- Plan My Care: A guided template inspired by birth plans, helping individuals plan their care needs, preferences, and support network before requiring services.
- My-ghty Magnet: A smart fridge magnet with a QR code storing vital health and care information, instantly accessible in emergencies by paramedics, care workers, or family.
- Care Compass: A simple, plain-language web portal providing clear and accessible information about adult social care options and pathways for residents and carers.
- Care Collaborators: A training program for health and social care staff to develop holistic knowledge and provide personalized advice on navigating care systems.
- Care Flow: A comprehensive system that streamlines referrals to adult social care with behavioral nudges, real-time updates for senders, and AI-powered backend tools for triaging and managing messages efficiently.
Who should attend?
- Frontline workers/staff who have experienced challenges in these areas
- Suppliers with ideas/solutions and appetite to co-design in any of these areas
- UI/UX developers, service designers working in or interested in these solution spaces
